Ports of Indiana Bid Process

Ports of Indiana’s bid process is executed in accordance with Indiana law. Prospective bidders are encouraged to complete the Indiana prequalification process PRIOR to bidding. Companies may prequalify with either Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) or Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA) but must be INDOT prequalified to perform any roadworks projects.

IDOA

IDOA Prequalification Site

To apply for prequalification, firms must complete the electronic DAPW’s Contractor Prequalification Application.

To prequalify, you will be asked to provide the following:
• Business information
• Letter of Surety Confirmation
• List of five (5) projects completed in the past five (5) years that indicate proficiency in the categories requested.
• Work Category codes – see below for codes applicable to Ports of Indiana.
