Michael Simms

Commissioner

Michael is currently working for the Local 150 Union, with jurisdiction in 35 states, in the new track construction and derailment industry.   He has worked in this industry for over twenty years.  I also worked for US  Steel in Gary.

From 1983 to 2004, I served in the Military, including the Airborne Division, Armored Division, and Infantry Division. Michael has received the following Military Awards: Combat Infantry Badge, Air Assault Badge, Army Expedition Medal, Two Army Accommodations, Three Army Achievement Medals, Overseas Service Medal, Three Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Awards, 38th Infantry Division 3rd Brigade Non-Commissioned Officer of the year [1991 and 1992].

Michael is a dedicated and accomplished professional with a proven track record in his field. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence, continuous learning, and leadership. He is known for his ability to adapt to new challenges and deliver results, making him a valuable asset in any organization.

He has completed various projects that underscore his attention to detail and organizational skills. He is recognized for effective teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
