Port of Indiana-Jeffersonville is strategically located at the intersection of three major interstate corridors, connected by the Louisville-Jeffersonville bypass.

  • I-265 bypass around Louisville-Jeffersonville links I-64, I-65, I-71 and Highway 62. I-265 terminates at Highway 62 at the entrance to the Port of Indiana-Jeffersonville.
  • I-64, an east-west route which runs from the port at Norfolk, Va., on the eastern seaboard to St. Louis on the Mississippi River where it meets I-70 for access to the West.
  • I-65, a north-south route which runs from Chicago to the Gulf of Mexico at Mobile, Ala., passes through Indianapolis, Nashville, Tenn., and Birmingham, Ala., along the way, intersecting five other major east-west interstates: I-90, I-70, I-40, I-20, I-10.
  • I-71, a north-south route that begins in Louisville and runs through Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland with access to the three primary east-west interstates to the northeast (I-70/76 to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, I-80 to New York and I-90 to Boston).
